| Content Summary | Στο Νοτιοανατολικό άκρο της Σύρου σε έναν κολπίσκο μεταξύ των χωριών Αχλάδι και Μέγας Γιαλός, βρίσκεται το οικόπεδο έκτασης 26.300 τμ με πρόσβαση στην θάλασσα καθώς και στην επαρχιακή οδό Κάτω Μάννα-Μ. Γιαλός. Στα άκρα του οικοπέδου εντοπίζεται ίχνος αρχαίου μονοπατιού το οποίο εικάζεται πως το διέσχιζε στο παρελθόν. Εκμεταλλευόμενοι την ιστορική ποικιλομορφία του νησιού – θεωρείται σταυροδρόμι πολιτισμού - και συνδέοντας την έννοια του ταξιδευτή/περιπατητή με αυτήν του σύγχρονου εναλλακτικού τουρισμού δημιουργείται η κεντρική ιδέα η οποία βασίζεται στην αποκατάσταση και επαναπροσδιορισμό του μονοπατιού σε άμεση σύνδεση με το φυσικό τοπίο πάνω στο οποίο θα αρθρώνεται μονάδα ιαματικού τουρισμού έκτασης 10.000 τμ. Ο παραλληλισμός της παραδοσιακής ταξιδιωτικής στάσης που αποτελούσαν οι Εκκλησίες και τα Μοναστήρια με την σύγχρονη που είναι αυτή της Ξενοδοχειακής μονάδας, καθώς και η ανάγκη έκλυσης συναισθημάτων μυστικισμού, θεραπείας, απομόνωσης αλλά και η διατήρηση του φυσικού τοπίου της περιοχής, μας οδήγησε στην απόφαση της χρήσης υπόσκαφων κατασκευών και ένα παιχνίδι με το Φως και το Σκοτάδι ενώ συγχρόνως ενέπνευσε και το όνομα της μονάδας μας SOMA που αποτελείται από τα αρχικά των αγγλικών λέξεων Spiritual, Materia,l Architecture ενώ το Ο συμβολίζει τον κόλπο στο οποίο βρίσκεται το οικόπεδο και κατ'επέκταση την σύνδεση με την Φύση. | el |
| Content Summary | At the South-East end of Syros in a creek between the villages of Achladi and Megas Gialos, is the plot of land of 26,300 m2 with access to the sea as well as to the provincial road Kato Manna-M. Gialos. At the edges of the plot there is a trace of an ancient path which is supposed to have crossed it in the past. Taking advantage of the historical diversity of the island - it is considered a crossroads of culture - and connecting the concept of the traveler with that of modern alternative tourism, the central idea is created which is based on the restoration and redefinition of the path in direct connection with the natural landscape on which it will be articulated thermal tourism unit with an area of 10,000 sq.m. In the effort to connect the Natural, Physical and Spiritual, the parallelism of the traditional modern station/node, the Church, with the modern, Hotel unit "New Temple", as well as the need to release feelings of mysticism, healing and isolation, led us to the decision of using underground constructions and in a game with Light and Darkness. | en |
