| Content Summary | Ο παράκτιος χώρος της Βόρειας Κρήτης βρίσκεται εκτεθειμένος απέναντι στο φαινόμενο του παράκτιου τουρισμού. Όπου τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια έχει προκαλέσει σημαντική ανατροπή του τοπίου και της παράκτιας ζώνης στο σύνολο της. Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία πραγματεύεται την χωρική ανάπτυξη των τουριστικών υποδομών , τον βιώσιμο σχεδιασμό στις παράκτιες περιοχές και πιο συγκεκριμένα στο Βόρειο παράκτιο τμήμα της Κρήτης. Η παράκτια ζώνη αποτελεί ένα σύστημα όπου συνυπάρχουν και αλληλεπιδρούν πολλοί παράγοντες. Η σύνδεσή της με τον υπάρχοντα αστικό ιστό μέσω των δικτύων έχει μεγάλη σημασία. Ο παράκτιος χωρικός σχεδιασμός και ο ανθρωπογενής παράγοντας συνδέονται άρρηκτα με την αλλοίωση του περιβάλλοντος. Η μελέτη των παράκτιων περιοχών από πολεοδομική σκοπιά με την ανάλυση χαρτογραφικών υπόβαθρών τα οποία αναλύονται με τη χρήση της συγκριτικής μεθόδου για τις χρονολογικές περιόδους 2005, 2015 , 2019 συντελούν στο να διερευνηθούν οι μεταβολές που έχει επιφέρει το χωρικό αποτύπωμα του τουρισμού . Η εργασία στοχεύει στην καταγραφή των τυπολογιών χωρικής ανάπτυξης και των χαρακτηριστικών που εμφανίζουν οι παράκτιες περιοχές. Στην αξιολόγηση της εφαρμογής νομοθετικών πλαισίων που αφορούν το παράκτιο χώρο σε τοπικό επίπεδο. Έπειτα από μια κατηγοριοποίηση που γίνεται με βάση τα κοινά χαρακτηριστικά των περιοχών εξετάζονται τέσσερεις μελέτες περίπτωσης . Οι παραπάνω παρατηρήσεις οδηγούν σε πιθανά συμπεράσματα. Καταδεικνύουν την ανάγκη για βιώσιμο σχεδιασμό και την ενίσχυση των προσπαθειών για τη διατήρηση της παράκτιας ζώνης. Η έρευνα στοχεύει στο να παράσχει την κατανόηση της παράκτιας ανάπτυξης και των συνεπειών της στον τουρισμό, προσφέροντας έτσι μια βάση για τη λήψη βιώσιμων αποφάσεων για το μέλλον. | el |
| Content Summary | The coastal area of Northern Crete is exposed to the phenomenon of coastal tourism, which has caused a significant transformation of the landscape and the coastal zone as a whole over the last 20 years. This research paper delves into the spatial development of tourism infrastructure and sustainable planning in coastal areas, specifically focusing on the Northern coastal region of Crete. The coastal zone constitutes a complex system where multiple factors coexist and interact. Its connection to the existing urban fabric through networks is of paramount importance. Coastal spatial planning and the anthropogenic factor are inextricably linked to environmental alterations. The study of coastal areas from an urban planning perspective, involving the analysis of cartographic backgrounds, conducted through the use of the comparative method for the chronological periods of 2005, 2015, and 2019, aims to explore the changes brought about by the spatial footprint of tourism. The work aims to document the typologies of spatial development and the characteristics exhibited by coastal areas. Additionally, it evaluates the application of legislative frameworks pertaining to the coastal zone at the local level. Following categorization based on common characteristics of these areas, four case studies are examined. These observations lead to potential conclusions, highlighting the need for sustainable planning and the reinforcement of efforts to preserve the coastal zone. This research aims to provide an understanding of coastal development and its implications for tourism, thereby offering a foundation for making sustainable decisions for the future. | en |
