Summary

This thesis examines the interconnection of sustainable productivity with key aspects of human life, such as agriculture, health, tourism, engineering and entrepreneurship, through the lens of the circular economy, green finance and green buildings. The study adopts an integrated approach, integrating theoretical frameworks, empirical analyses and case studies to explore how circular economy principles, green finance mechanisms and sustainable building practices contribute to improving productivity in different sectors. By analysing the role of these sustainability concepts in supply chain management, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and renewable energy adoption, the thesis aims to provide information on pathways to achieve sustainable development goals while promoting economic growth. Drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives and real-world examples, the research highlights the importance of integrating the aforementioned practices to enhance productivity and promote human well-being and how they are occurring in the fields of agriculture, health, tourism and entrepreneurship both within and outside Europe.
