Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels originated from outdoor air were estimated in- and outside of residences in Finland in 2018. Outdoor air originated PM2.5 concentrations in residences were roughly half smaller in comparison to outdoor air concentrations and was a dominant source in the indoor air in Helsinki and some other urban areas.
