Summary

Augmenting materials are modern forms of materials or metamaterials that enhance mechanical and biological properties in various applications. In medicine, they are used in implants and drug delivery systems, adapting their properties to organic tissues. In sports, these materials improve the performance and safety of athletic equipment. In the automotive industry, nanotechnology enables the creation of lighter and more durable structures, enhancing energy efficiency.3D printing can be used to create augmenting materials, expanding the possibilities of producing customized constructions. Nanotechnology offers specialized properties, such as increased strength. Despite their many prospects, further research is needed for safe and sustainable applications in healthcare, sports, and the automotive industry. At the end of the work, bibliographic and online sources are provided
