In this thesis, a experimental investigation will be conducted on the impact of laser operating conditions (i.e., pulse frequency, scanning speed, and power) on the visibility of the produced markings. Visibility is evaluated through the contrast index, which is calculated from digital images of the engravings using the ImageJ software. The analysis of the results aims to understand the relationship between the laser operating parameters and the quality of the markings, with the goal of optimizing the process.
