The subject of this Diploma Thesis concerns the improvement of the design of the fuel cell air duct of an electric racing vehicle (of the TUCer team of the Technical University of Crete). In the framework of the diploma thesis, a parametric model of the system geometry will initially be created using the CATIA V5R20 software. Simulations of the cooling air flow through the system and the fuel cell will then be performed, using the CFD software ANSYS CFX for different configurations, in order to improve heat dissipation from the fuel cell and achieve a uniform temperature field at the cell outlet. The results of the simulations will be used to improve the system design.
