This diploma project examines the production planning of a local microbrewery. Following a description of the production process, demand forecasts are estimated from past data using statistical tools. Then raw material, resource and processing time requirements are recorded for each production and inventory stage. Finally, some production scheduling and inventory management problems are addressed, as the company aims to optimize future demand fulfillment performance while minimizing operating costs.
