The thesis concerns the use of an artificial neural network in a machine designed to straighten copper tubes with a diameter of 12mm, which are initially supplied as raw material in coil form. The goal is to predict the final shape of the pieces based on the machine’s settings. This was achieved using data obtained through an experimental process. The ultimate objective is to assess whether the artificial neural network provides an accurate approximation, enabling the potential for practical application.
