This work aims to document and present the most significant developments in the usage of negotiation- and argumentation-based multi-agent systems in the field of multiple criteria decision support. Also, this work sets forth the goal of a currently ongoing research for the development of an argument-based intelligent agent platform for the support of group decision making using multicriteria decision analysis methods.
