Summary

This paper describes an autonomous agent conceived for automatingthe decision making process for pricing products. Product pricing involves theinteraction of decision makers with different - possibly conflicting - points ofview. Our approach allows for applying individual pricing policies to each productby taking into account different points of view expressed through differentarguments and the dynamic environment of the application. This is done throughthe use of argumentation technology. The agent development process using theAgent Systems Engineering Methodology (ASEME) is also presented.
