The aim of this diploma thesis is the study and the programming of a prototype robotic base that follows a passenger and carries his baggage in areas that is impossible to use global positioning system (G.P.S). Specifically, it studied and programmed the interaction of the passenger and the robotic base at internal and external environment. As a transfer base it used the robotic vehicle reDevil of the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems and Robotics of the Production Engineer and Management faculty of the Technical University of Crete. The task involves the detailed description, implementation and testing of the proposed solution with the help of reDevil. Finally, the task involves the study and the design of the transfer base for transporting the luggage of a traveler in places such as airports and other public transport stations.
