Summary

Nowadays, people want and in some cases "required" to take an as high as possible and personalized access to information about products or services they receive. Taking all of these data and information they want to make every moment, anywhere and if they are, as well as by all available means, handheld or other device at their disposal. A prerequisite is the adoption and use of technological applications (applications), which companies are required to use, for their own benefit, but rather for the benefit of users - customers. Businesses will have to adapt to a new operating and management within their business processes in order to become viable and also to develop a significant competitive advantage over other similar enterprises of the industry.In today's modern business, the tourism sector is studied in more detail, there is a constant proliferation of "portable" applications, which can find fertile ground use and applicable to a range of different functions. The study conducted shows different approaches to these applications and their use by businesses in the tourism area are examined and those criteria relating to their dimensions, both the context of use of these applications, and the delivery of adaptation and users - clients to the new situation created.In the first chapter of the study, the development objective of the exercise is analyzed, as well as the objectives to be achieved set. It examines the reasons why businesses adopt or should adopt new technological applications in their operation, and analyzed and how should they be used in applications in order to be more effective, business efforts. The second chapter lists all those areas of business on which applications can be adopted and become effective, the appropriate use and infrastructure. Areas such as e-commerce-business, the various information systems of companies, as well as operational or inter-company integration are areas where the adoption of technological applications can be particularly critical to the development and promotion of business.The third chapter of the study is devoted entirely to the tourism business sector and how technological developments and the various applications can positively affect its operation. Determine the concepts and parameters of "Electronic Tourism - E - Tourism», and analyzed and the significant contribution the internet (internet) in the tourism sector. Also, reference is made to electronic marketing and management systems that can be adopted and implemented in the tourist area and bring very significant benefits to those companies that adapt to them. The biggest part of this chapter examines the various applications that are assimilated and used by businesses in mind industry, as can be are the on line booking applications, the creation of electronic kiosks, the panoramas, the various voice portal, etc. Finally, this third chapter concludes with a listing of all parameters of electronic applications, contributing positively and effectively in the tourism industry.The way they are designed and implemented electronic applications in the tourism industry through the use of «smart» mobile and portable devices (tablets), is the main object of study in the fourth chapter of this work. In addition to the above, this chapter lists and those types of tourist services that can be offered by applications through such devices as, diverse tourist information, map display and location, assistance and all kinds of information during the user's journey and other types of participation in social activities. Moreover, the representative presentation of the use of applications in the industry and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages that can adopt such applications, through these mobile devices, the wider tourist area.Besides the theoretical framework on which moves the study on the possible representative and complete understanding of the usage reader and operation of an electronic application in the tourism sector, a specific application being considered, which recently adopted by hotels of abroad. This application is called «Conichi» and the on line reservation for a room by the guest through a platform, as well as a number of other services that may be taken without the need to visit all the reception (reception) of the hotel. The three (3) main components that distinguish the analysis of this application relate, how it works, the innovation it offers, as well as the utility that can take every customer through its use. The study was conducted in relation to the contribution of the applications in the development of business completed the sixth chapter, which leads to the overall conclusion of the above analysis.
