Summary

Aim of present diplomatic work is the conduct of research for a) the existing professional situation of qualified Production and Management Engineers (PME), b) the opinions of these but also enterprises in which they are occupied, and g) the recording of needs of enterprises in the integration of their potential from alumnus PME. Initial objective is the subject of the presentation of total review, based in Greek but also international bibliography, with regard to employment of PME. It follows conduct of research with use of questionnaires through which, the work aims it searches questions that concern conditions and processes of integration in the job market, professional profiles of PME and the investigation of dimension between the professional profile and their professional identity. For the treatment and the analysis of data that was assembled, was used suitable statistical software. At the same time, via the method of interviews it followed a qualitative research, based on data of primary character in order to are elected main subjects that concern the branch of PME. Concretely, were realised interviews with companies relative with the object, so that they answer in questions that concern how much ready are the graduates to include itself in the job market and to appear worthy in the modern requirements of industry. Finally are presented the results of research, providing a total picture of profile of graduates of department PME, the opinion that prevails in the market for their PME, while through the comparison and this evaluation are impressed the needs of integration and their prospects of employment.
