The object of this thesis is to investigate the possibility of implementing modernapproaches in the organization and operation of administrative and support services in the Defense. Basic concepts of Command, Management, Leadership, Innovation and Organizational Culture are being analyzed in a theoretical level and the effect they have on the implementation process of Activity Based Costing in the Greek Armed Forces is being examined. The research is carried out by the method of the questionnaire and with the participation of Fiscal Corps’ Officers. The study results lead to interesting conclusions concerning the attitude and the views of the above-mentioned group of people about the feasibility of the process and the prospect of their active participation in it.
