In this Diploma thesis is presented the programming and design of a Production Line in a digital environment using the application Machining Line Planner of NX 12. A prismatic model was designed with several geometric features and the manufacturing processes of those were defined using NX CAD/CAM. These manufacturing processes were distributed in different Setups, keeping in mind constraints such as cycle time, available machining tools, and the machining axes of each machining center.
