| Content Summary | Προτείνεται η μελέτη ενός συστήματος παραγωγής του οποίου τα προϊόντα έχουν τυχαίες διάρκειες ζωής. Οι αφίξεις των πελατών ακολουθούν την κατανομή Poisson, ενώ οι χρόνοι παραγωγής είναι εκθετικά κατανεμημένοι και οι διάρκειες ζωής των προϊόντων ακολουθούν την κατανομή Cox-2. Υποθέτουμε ότι γνωρίζουμε την φάση της ζωής στην οποία βρίσκεται κάθε προϊόν. Αναπτύξαμε ακριβές μαθηματικό μοντέλο για την περιγραφή του συστήματος και την εκτίμηση των διαφόρων μέτρων απόδοσής του. Εξετάσαμε ακόμη την περίπτωση ενός συστήματος με τα ίδια χαρακτηριστικά, αλλά χωρίς να γνωρίζουμε την φάση της ζωής στην οποία βρίσκεται κάθε προϊόν. | Content Summary | It is proposed to study a production system whose products have a random lifetime. Customer arrivals follow the Poisson distribution, while production times are exponentially distributed and product lifetimes follow Cox-2 distribution. We assume that we know the phase of life in which each product is. We developed an accurate mathematical model for describing the system and estimating its various performance measures. We have also considered the case of a system with the same characteristics, but without knowing the life phase in which each product is. The aim is to compare the two systems. | en |
