This master’s thesis describes the theoretical background of safety and hygeine in the workplace, in accordance with legislation, the rules of science and good practice. The concept of written occupational risk management is described and the risk management and the ergonomics of the work involved are analysed according to the internationally accepted workplace Hazard Anaysis method.The purpose is the detailed description of the occupational risk assesment in the field of disinfestation, rodenticides and disinfections in our country. Harmful factors are identified, the risk of each task is assessed and corrective measures are proposed for all identified risks. Detailed monitoring is carried out in all practices implemented within the company and are then ergonomically analysed. Improvements in the execution of all tasks are proposed always taking into consideration the safety and health of employees and customers. The data was collected through interviews and questinnaires between management and staff, monitoring the manner and methods used in the execution of their work.The ultimate goal is to improve occupational safety and health conditions and reduce the potential risks of causing an accident in the workplace and minimize the possibility of an occupational disease. The results of the study are taken into account by the management of the company and are checked by the safety technician and the occupational physician in terms of their application and effectiveness.
