The purpose of this dissertation was the introduction to basic knowledge regarding the RETScreen Expert software as well as the investigation of technical parameters for the installation of photovoltaic parks of 10kW power in three Greek cities, Chania Patras and Kozani. In the first chapters chapters 1&2, reference is made to bibliographic data concerning the software, then information on how the work was prepared, the data and the steps followed for the installation of the photovoltaic parks. Then in chapter 3 is presented the process by which the study and recording of the data collected for each area was done separately and finally in chapter 4 the general conclusions and the selection of the most efficient solution.For each area an installation research was done for 5 different types of photovoltaics while for each type there were different manufacturers and models so that there is a large enough range of comparison and to see which device is the most efficient and profitable.
