The present work refers to the costing of the production process of a factory or a company where in this case we investigate the factory of AVEA.AVEA was founded in 1889, is based in Chania, Crete and has the oldest olive oil processing plant in Greece. Its main areas of activity are the bottling and marketing of extra virgin Cretan olive oil and the production of cosmetics based on olives.Initially, in chapter 1 of the study, reference will be made to the basic concepts of management but also to its functions as well as to the concept of financial management, its purpose / elements, objectives and functions.Chapter 2 will refer to the meaning, purpose and importance of costing and its necessity for the business.Then in chapter 3 will be the presentation of the company we have chosen and which is AVEA.Chapter 5 will provide a detailed presentation of the costing methods of the products that the company has adopted.Finally, the conclusions of the study will be reported.
