Summary

The topic of the dissertation is human resource management and more specifically the case of teleworking. Teleworking is one of the most topical issues of the last dispute both in Greece and in the rest of Europe. In fact, since March 2020, it has entered the lives of most employees due to the arrival of Covid-19. In most cases, remote work has been imposed by governments as a pandemic measure. However, in some cases it is already the modern way of working as some companies and public services have announced that this "working model" will be adopted on a permanent basis. The dissertation will present the concepts and forms of teleworking as well as its basic tools. Also, there will be an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages observed from different perspectives (employer, employee, etc.). In addition, studies on the implementation of telework in Greece in the EU before and after the pandemic will be analyzed, while reference will be made to the Legislative Framework and how this has evolved over time.
