Summary

Occupational stress and occupational hygiene are widely regarded as the most serious health issues that employees must address as managers of this situation, both to secure the well-being of the workforce and as a prerequisite for the proper operation of the firm or organization they lead. It strains employees' emotional and physical health as well as their performance at work, and when paired with job instability, it poses a continual risk to the connection between employees and employers. Initially, the purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of occupational stress on public-sector nurses, to identify the factors that contribute to it, and to provide solutions to the problems that arise. An investigation will be conducted to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the mental health of nursing personnel of Karditsa Hospital. As part of this study, I plan to develop a questionnaire with questions regarding job stress, employment insecurity, and the COVID-19 pandemic in relation to the health sector.
