The goal of this thesis is the financial analysis of the olive oil industry in Greece. The research is taking place in the years 2015-2020 and in this context, a sample of olive oil processing and standardization companies is evaluated. In the present thesis there will be used specific financial indicators, aiming at a reliable study and analysis of the economic course of the industry for the aforementioned time period. Next, the PROMETHEE II multi-criteria method will be applied, based on the companies’ performance in specific indicators, so that their final ranking will be obtained. At the end, all the results and conclusions that emerged from this study will be presented.
