Summary

Monitored Natural Attenuation is a technology that until now has been used for the remediation of contaminated soilsand groundwater. In this study, is presented the first step for the application of Monitored Natural Attenuation for thewhole basin of Evrotas river. The main pollutants that are studied are nutrients. The results of the six field campaignthat were conducted until provide the first evidence that there are mechanisms of natural attenuation.
