Summary

The business plan is the primary step for any business, whether new or not, that wants to make a fresh start. This is in practice an analysis of the business idea in all its dimensions.This diploma thesis analyzes the plan for the establishment of a specific storage and distribution center in Attica. The business idea focuses on the supply of colors, tools, varnishes and decorative products to professionals and individuals, aiming at the efficient use of storage and handling technology to deliver quality customer service.In the course of the thesis, the following are considered:The market dynamics in Attica and across the country, since this warehouse is the central customer service center in Attica and throughout the country.The financial Costs of investment and operating costs as well as expected revenue. Economic analysis is carried out through specific scenarios. These include the calculation of balance sheets, cash flows, taxes, and other financial elements of the business.Another conventional element in the please analysis is that with the help of indexes such as liquidity ratios, activity ratios, profitability ratios, financial ratios and projected ratios. We can clarify very important elements for a business and understand its liquidity and profitability. In the following thesis we will also look at the calculation of Net Present Value (CPV) or otherwise Present Value and how the investment is worth realizing since the CPV is largely positive. The most important analysis we will use is that of the breakeven point. After analyzing it, it is clear that the company fully covers all its expenses, so we do not have any losses. On the contrary, we also have high profits.Finally, the work is completed through a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats), which aims at highlighting all the factors that contribute to the success of the project.
