Summary

This work deals with the rolling frictional contact problem between anelastic cylinder and a °at rigid body. A simple approach to solve the quasistaticcase through the results of the static one is presented. The discretization is basedon the boundary element method. The unilateral frictional contact problem (non-smooth but monotone) is formulated in a compact form as a nonsymmetric linearcomplementarity problem which is solved using the Lemke's algorithm.
